Boyarbreen Glacier (Bøyabreen)

In the evening we made a short stop near another tongue of the same huge glacier Jostedalsbreen.

This tongue is called Boyarbreen (Bøyabreen on map) and crawls along the south-western slope of the array Yostedal. This is the lower edge of the Jostedalsbreen Glacier, glacial lake Brevatnet is at elevation 145 meters above sea level.

Now, as well as tongue Briksdalsbreen, here remained only a small piece near the lake , protected from the sun's rays by high cliffs.
